Note: DigiTech instrumentation by DigiCare features four
tiers of technology groups for easier marketing, pricing
and counseling. Each tier features special technology
characteristics and covers a wide variety of hearing
losses.
1.0 TECHNOLOGY SERIES feature Class D and Class B
analogue custom and BTE instruments—while not as
advanced as our digital instrumentation, these are
excellent, distortion-free circuits for those who either
prefer analogue or who cannot afford digital. These use
active rather than passive filters and are very clear
devices. Reasonably priced.
2.0 TECHNOLOGY SERIES feature advanced analogue BTE
instruments only. These offer more compression
strategies (WDRC, AGCo, AGC-I) and power ranges. These
instruments sound nearly as good as digital technology!
In fact, our high-power BTE (PT1PPS) provides more
use-gain and output without feedback than almost any
power digital on the market!
3.0 TECHNOLOGY SERIES feature our economical digital
technology group. Both the custom instrument and
behind-the-ear (BTE) models feature super reliable
9-band/2-channel DSPII circuit with simplified software
for easy programming. These are priced below most
non-digital programmable devices, and replace the former
WDRC hybrid devices. The BTE version utilizes Digital
Audio Chemistry technologies, such as the patented
Speech Management System (SMS) and Microphone Noise
Reduction (MNR). All instrumentation of this class are
built on open architecture for backwards compatibility
to new versions of the software. Battery drain is a
miniscule .65 mA or less drain, about half the industry
average.
4.0 TECHNOLOGY SERIES feature two pinnacle DSPIII
digital circuits. These circuits are utilized for
optimal correction of hearing impairment and tinnitus
management, where indicated—32-Channel ADRO and
3-channel/14-band Premium Digital Platforms in open
architecture allow for backwards compatibility and
future software upgrades. This series features
Mini-Canal, Canal, Half-Shell, and Full-ITE, and Two BTE
model size casings (Small and Open-Ear Nano). Offering
advanced Digital Audio Chemistry technologies (SMS, MNR,
adaptive directional) using .65mA or less battery drain,
unheard of in such a sophisticated DSP package!
